Public buyers of research and consultancy

From notices on Find a Tender, Contracts Finder and Public Contracts Scotland. Research and consultancy are picked by the notices’ CPV codes, as in our area reports; a tender counts once, and a direct award never counts. A buyer’s spellings are joined by fixed rules and a reviewed list, never by guesswork. Public bodies only: a buyer has a page only when its own notices declare it a public body, and never when they call it a private utility. Sizes are the values notices state, framework ceilings left out; small firms are as Find a Tender’s award notices record them. Values are usually without VAT; “incl. VAT” marks one given only with it. Not included: Welsh tenders published only on Sell2Wales (under £30,000; before 24 February 2025, most below the UK-wide thresholds) and Northern Ireland’s below-threshold tenders, published only on eTendersNI.
